Transport & travel

Is anyone else sick to death of buses replacing mainline trains at weekends? On the Clacton -Liverpool St line, we've had long bus journeys replacing our fast train service at w/ends for YEARS- and it looks like this is going on forever. The service never seems to improve so why do they persist in the practice?
I HATE travelling by bus/coach, you can't move, I feel sick & you can't go to the loo/get a drink/read (without feeling nauseous)/move.

I love travelling by train but am stopped from doing so, even when I purchase a TRAIN ticket at w/ends.If I wanted to go to by bus, I'd choose much cheaper NATIONAL EXPRESS.
I've cancelled loads of w/ends away in the last few weeks, because of this bus substitution.
Enough is enough- other European countries manage to run train services 7 days pw.

I wouldn't mind it so much if they reduced the fares to reflect the inconvenience. Do they? Do they 'eck.
